Perhaps the archtypal Paramo garment, the Velez Smock uses the amazing Nikwax Analogy fabric which pushes moisture outwards every time you move, the way a bear's fur does. Easily the most breathable waterproof fabric on the market, Analogy breathes on muggy days when membranes don't, lasts longer because there is no membrane to crack/puncture/delaminate and stands up brilliantly to high activity use. The Velez is cut short at the the front and long at the back to give plenty of weather protection when cycling, but also allows easy access to a climbing harness and will work perfectly well as a hillwalking jacket. There are twin zipped side vents for easy ventilation, a large front pocket and two internal handwarmer pockets. The wired hood is both adjustable for size and removeable. All in all an extremely versatile top, ideal for being energetic in but supremely comfortable even when you're in a more relaxed mode.
