The Outdoor Designs Classic 4-6 Person Shelter is brilliant in emergency situations. In the event of an accident, being able to bring the whole party together under one roof is of immeasurable physical and psychological benefit. This size will accommodate 4-6 people in a tough ripstop, waterproof and windproof shelter. It has windows and anti-condensation vents plus the shelter has two recesses in the roof which allow walking poles to be used as a brace. These shelters come with their own stuff sack (which is permanently attached to the shelter so that it doesn’t blow away.) The shelter is easy to get into, you just fold it over your head(s) and sit on the lower edge (on your rucksack if you want more insulation), then you can laugh at the weather through the neat window which is an additional benefit of this emergency shelter.
