Teva footwear is renowned for its comfort and longevity and the Verdon is no exception, robust yet lightweight with a Spider Rubber sole that keeps its friction even in the wet. These are ideal as a travel shoe for those who are mixing sightseeing with trail walking, or as an approach shoe for climbers, or just as a general comfortable all-purpose shoe. They also make a good boot substitute for those who don't like anything around their ankles - having a fairly stiff sole they do surprisingly well on rough ground, although you obviously do have to make allowances for lack of ankle support.
