Britain's best-selling walking boots. This classic Brasher boot has got just the right balance between light weight and robustness. The one piece full grain leather upper gives excellent durability and toughness whilst providing unmatched levels of comfort. The Gore-tex membrane allows breathability as well as extra waterproofness. Both older and newer models have a comfortable leather cuff for cushioning around the ankle, but whereas the older version extends this to the sole to give the membrane additional protection the Hillmaster II leaves this open for extra breathability and lightness. It's been a long-running debate within Brasher with merit on both sides. The newer model also has memory foam around the cuff to customise it to your ankle and a slightly stickier rubber compound on the sole. The classic Brasher sole pattern has been dropped in favour of a more aggressive tread, but one which retains the tried and tested mud-shedding properties of the old pattern. Still the hillwalkers' equivalent of slippers.
