These tablets are effective against Giardia. The iodine kills the micro-organisms in the water making it safe to drink and use for washing fruit, veg and cleaning your teeth. Not for long-term use.

Clean water is essential when travelling as waterborne pathogens can often put pay to your holiday! Cholrine tablets are suitable for long term use (unlike iodine) for basic water purification (i.e. UK), can be used for treating drinking water and to disinfect water needed for washing fruit and veg as well as cleaning your teeth!
