At first glance it's a smart, sturdy, mid-sized wheeled case but on closer inspection you'll find the front part cleverly unzips and in two clicks turns into a very handy, comfortable to wear daypack.
Everything about this piece of luggage is first class even down to the luxurious lining. Each component is top quality from the wheels to the zips, standing upright without a wobble - it won't let you down, and is backed by Eagle Creek's Lifetime Guarantee.
The main case has a large ¾ opening to allow easy access and has tough lockable zips for security. Inside compression straps hold clothing in place and a large zipped mesh pocket helps separate special items. On the front is another zip pocket and it has side and top padded grab handles. The telescopic tow handle easily and securely clicks in three position lengths or packs neatly away.
The front (removable daypack) section has a spacious main compartment with padded sleeve to accommodate a 15" laptop and a front zipped pocket large enough for A4 documents and magazines with padded organiser pouches for small electrical items, pens, notepads, etc. Once unzipped from the main case the front section can either be slipped onto the telescopic handle and wheeled or worn as a daypack. This is granny's favourite (and mine too!). It's a small, easy to manoeuvre, lightweight rolling companion. Full of assorted pockets, pouches and hidey-holes. It is beautifully designed so that it stands up without wobbling. The main compartment has a wide U shaped zip and opens fully with bellows sides that stop your possessions scattering on the floor. All your travel documents, guidebooks, pens, mobile phone, camera and crossword puzzle book can be tidily slotted away in the neat organiser pocket at the front. Both front and main compartments have two way zips which allow them to be padlocked. On each side is a handy zip bellows pocket (ideal for compact umbrella, water bottle, etc). The telescopic handle sides down neatly into it's own zip pocket to allow the tote to be carried by the comfortably padded grab handle and there's a bonus hide away luggage ID label inserted in the top and ready for use. Finally, just in case you've fallen in love with it and want one anyway (despite the fact you already have a bigger version) - it has a slip panel on the back to allow it to be stacked onto other wheeled luggage. Oh, and in case you didn't guess from the name, it is acceptable as cabin luggage and designed to slip underneath the seat.
