Using our experience outfitting groups for expeditions, we carefully selected a range of products for individual travellers and holidaymakers and so launched the "Travel Accessories" range in 1990. This range has been featured in our ever-expanding catalogues for the past decade, and on our website for the past 5 years.

Branching out still further in April 1993, SafariQuip moved into the Peak District National Park and opened an outdoor equipment shop "AdventureQuip" in the historic village of Castleton. The shop occupies a centuries old stone building just below the ramparts of Peveril Castle (one of the oldest stone castles in Britain.) The shop caters for walkers and visitors to the Peak District's wild moorland and craggy dales as well as travellers heading further afield. Our range of quality outdoor clothing and equipment is carefully selected and is a perfect complement to our travel range, thus catering for both hot and cold climates!

Our staff are always on hand in the shop to discuss your travel and outdoor wear queries. We are also happy to respond to telephone or email requests for information. We have a wealth of outdoor and travel experience between us and are pleased to share it with our customers.
